If I could give this place 1000000 out of 5 stars I would!!!! My friend and I stayed here and with it being our first time to Santa Teresa, the owner Veronica helped us figure out everything from booking rides to and from the airport, surf lessons, ATV rentals, local recommendations. You name it she was there to help with it, she was so incredibly kind and helpful!!!! The room was cozy, clean, air conditioned and in the perfect location in town. The staff was always accommodating and prompt with responding when you needed assistance or had questions. Cannot recommend this stay enough, especially for young women and solo travelers coming to Santa Teresa for the first time 🏄🏼‍♀️🌸🫧🐚🐠

We've stayed in many hotels/Airbnb places over the years, and this was without a doubt one of the very best. You can feel the care, love, and attention in every single corner. The design is beautiful and thoughtful throughout — inside the apartment, on the walls, outside, and even along the paths and walkways, with lovely details, plants, lighting, and decor that truly make the place feel special and heartwarming. It's also incredibly well equipped. You can tell they invested with their whole heart and didn't cut corners. Even though it's a small apartment, they somehow managed to include everything. On top of that, they were super kind, responsive, flexible, and helpful far beyond what was required. Truly wonderful hosts. The location itself is perfect — walking distance from everything and yet quiet and private. Highly recommended.

The Baya House was such an amazing place to stay during our trip to Santa Teresa! It's in a perfect location — in walking distance to the beach, shops, and great cafes, has a beautiful pool, and we loved the design of the rooms and pool! Veronica was so accommodating and really made us feel at home during our stay.

The Baya House is the PERFECT place to stay in Santa Teresa! Amazing location close to the beach and shops, beautiful pool, and clean and comfortable rooms. The owner, Veronica, was available for anything that we needed and made us feel so welcome and at home. Could not recommend it more!!!

I had a wonderful stay at The Baya House in Santa Teresa, Costa Rica. Traveling alone, I felt completely safe and comfortable the entire time. The location is perfect — with a grocery store, restaurants, and coffee shops just steps away, plus an easy path to the beach that made my daily morning walks a highlight. Veronica is truly lovely and attentive, often arriving early to check in and ensure everything was perfect. Her care made the experience feel personal and welcoming. Whether you're a group, a couple or solo traveller this is an ideal place to stay. The beds and linens were incredibly comfortable — perfect for a restful night's sleep. I will absolutely return. I had the most amazing stay at this beautiful boutique hotel 🤍 It was just recently remodeled and everything feels so fresh, cozy, and thoughtfully designed. The location is perfect — literally a two-minute walk to the beach! The beds are incredibly comfortable, the rooms are adorable, and you have everything you need: air-conditioning, a private bathroom, fridge, coffee and tea right in your room. The pool area is gorgeous, and the overall atmosphere and vibe here feel peaceful, special, and untouched. Most of all, the owner Veronica is such a sweet soul and genuinely kind person who puts so much love into this place. You can really feel the care and intention behind everything she's created. She's doing an amazing job running it, and I couldn't recommend staying here more 💛

My husband and I booked and stayed at the “Pina” apartment and it truly had everything you could wish for. It was stylish yet homey, with beautifully curated furniture. It felt comfortable without being generic and hotel like, which honestly, it's what was missing with other accommodations in Santa Teresa. We had such a wonderful time. The kitchen is very well equipped with great supplies, which made it feel even more like home being able to make breakfast or a salad. Veronica is incredibly responsive and helpful. My husband took three surf coachings with Jeremy and was able to quickly improve and had the best time. They also arranged an ATV for us, which was conveniently dropped off and picked up directly at the accommodation — super easy!! Overall, we really didn't want to leave and truly hope we can come back again one day. 💛
